OUR ACCREDITATIONS
TESTPLUS Teknik Kontrol ve Belgelendirme Ticaret Limited Şirketi is a conformity assessment body listed in the European Commission’s NANDO database as Notified Body NB 2908 and accredited by the Turkish Accreditation Agency (TÜRKAK). Since 2007 it has provided impartial and independent certification in the fields of machinery safety, outdoor noise emission and electromagnetic compatibility.

TESTPLUS is listed in the European Commission’s NANDO (Single Market Compliance Space) database as an active Notified Body under the following three pieces of EU legislation. Date of last approval: 02.07.2021.
Machinery Safety
Annex IX – EC type-examination and EC type-examination certificate for Annex IV machinery.
Noise Emission
Annex VI and Annex VIII procedures for equipment for use outdoors.
Annex VII: TÜRKAK accreditation has been obtained; the approval process at the Turkish Ministry of Trade is ongoing.
Electromagnetic Compatibility
Annex III – EU type-examination. The only notified body designated in Türkiye for EMC.
No other body in Türkiye is notified under all three of 2006/42/EC, 2000/14/EC and 2014/30/EU.

European Commission Notification Documents
The notifications made to the European Commission by the Ministry of Trade of the Republic of Türkiye state that TESTPLUS is accredited by TÜRKAK and that the accreditation covers the product categories and conformity assessment procedures in the notification.
Serving Manufacturers Worldwide
As Notified Body NB 2908, TESTPLUS provides conformity assessment to manufacturers and their authorised representatives in any country. The certificates it issues under 2006/42/EC, 2000/14/EC and 2014/30/EU support the CE marking of products placed on the markets of the European Union and Türkiye, wherever the product is manufactured.
- International offices: in addition to its head office in Istanbul, TESTPLUS has offices in London and in the United States.
- On-site work: tests, inspections and audits can be carried out at the manufacturer’s premises where the applicable conformity assessment procedure allows.
- Worldwide cover: certification activities are covered by professional liability insurance with worldwide geographical coverage (excluding countries under embargo).
What Notified Body Status Means
A notified body is a conformity assessment body that a national authority has designated and notified to the European Commission to carry out third-party conformity assessment under specific EU legislation. Each notified body has a four-digit identification number and is published in the NANDO database together with the legislation, product categories and procedures it is notified for. The scope of Notified Body NB 2908 can be checked there by anyone.
Accreditation and Impartiality
Accreditation is the independent confirmation of a body’s competence and impartiality. EN ISO/IEC 17065 sets the requirements for bodies certifying products, and EN ISO/IEC 17021-1 for bodies auditing and certifying management systems. TÜRKAK is a signatory to the multilateral recognition arrangements of the European co-operation for Accreditation (EA) and the International Accreditation Forum (IAF).
To safeguard impartiality, TESTPLUS does not provide consultancy and does not prepare technical files; it carries out conformity assessment only.
Professional Liability Insurance
In line with the requirements of ISO/IEC 17065, TESTPLUS’s certification activities under 2006/42/EC, 2000/14/EC and 2014/30/EU are covered by professional liability insurance with worldwide geographical coverage (excluding countries under embargo).
