CE Certification in accordance with the Pressure Equipment Directive 2014/68/EU

The Pressure Equipment Regulation covers a wide range of products with a maximum allowable pressure of 0.5 bar or higher. These products are commonly used in processes such as petroleum, gas, chemical, pharmaceutical, plastic, rubber, food, and beverage industries; as well as in high-temperature processing industries such as wood, ceramics, and glass; and in energy production and distribution.

The aim is to ensure the design, manufacture, and market supply of pressure equipment at the highest level of safety.

The CE mark on products designed and manufactured in accordance with the Pressure Equipment Regulation ensures the free movement of these products in the market and the achievement of a high level of safety.

In general, pressure vessels and assembled products are expected to meet the following conditions:

They must be safe,

They must comply with the mandatory safety requirements of the regulation, including design, manufacturing, and testing stages,

The appropriate conformity assessment procedure must be carried out,

They must bear the CE mark,
