What are Machine Tests?

According to the 2006/42/EC Machinery Safety Regulation, a machine must be risk assessed according to the EN ISO 12100 Standard. In Risk Analysis, many details from ergonomics to electrical control devices are examined. According to the 2006/42/EC Machinery Safety Regulation Annex I “Basic Health and Safety Requirements, the checklist must be prepared and the inspection must be carried out. The main machine tests are as follows. The validity period of the machine CE certificate is five years, unless otherwise, if the standards and regulations are kept up to date.

  • EN ISO 13849-1, EN ISO 13849-2 Inspection of control circuits
  • EN ISO 4413, 4414, Control of hydraulic, pneumatic systems
