What is an EAC Certificate?

The EAC Certificate is a general definition of certificates of conformity with the technical standards of the Eurasian Customs Union, which was established in 2015 by Russia, Kazakhstan, and Belarus, and later joined by Kyrgyzstan and Armenia.

Companies seeking to export products to the Eurasian Customs Union countries—Russia, Kazakhstan, Armenia, Kyrgyzstan, and Belarus—must ensure that their products comply with the standards of this new union. The documents proving compliance with these standards are the Customs Union Certificate and the Customs Union Declaration. You can contact us for information on whether your exported products are affected by this new regulation.

A transition period was set for these countries to switch from the old regulations to the new EAC Certificate system. During this period, products with GOST Certificates could be exported, but as of 2015, many products have become invalid despite the expiration of their GOST Certificates.
